I fell in love with performance athletics at the tender age of four, after my parents finally gave in to my begging to let me join my older brother and sister at ice skating lessons. My passion for the sport led to quick progress, and I soon had junior British titles under my belt and was representing Great Britain on the international competition circuit. I retired from competitive skating at age 18 so that I could put some effort into getting a “normal job”, and gained a law degree and a masters in English linguistics before ending up in a Samoan circus touring the South Pacific as the first ice skater on the islands. Something of a failure on the “normal job” front, but a truly unforgettable experience.

After a year of life in the circus I returned to my legal career and was very fortunate to be based right in the heart of the legal district in London, just a stone's throw from the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand. I loved my work in the office, but my sense of adventure eventually got the better of me once again and I found myself back in a circus, this time in Mumbai.

I would spend my days in the circus training with the other performers, using this time to develop my existing skills and pick up many new ones. As is often the way, one thing led to another and I have now performed my acts for theme parks, cruise ships and corporate events all over the world - check out my resume to find out exactly where, and see if you can spot whose music video I appeared in!

For me, nothing can beat the thrill of stepping onto a stage and making a connection with an audience. I view it as a privilege to be able to do what I love and meet incredible people from all corners of the world and all walks of life while I'm doing it. I'm always looking for new places and ways to make that connection with audiences and fellow performers, so if you like what you see and think that we could work together then please get in touch.

If you're interested in learning some circus skills yourself then please do drop me an email as well. I have got so much enjoyment over the years out of being a part of the circus and performance community and I love being able to share that with others. Your circus journey can be whatever you want it to be - a fun way to get fit, meet new friends, gain some confidence, learn a new skill, or a lifestyle change. I can help you achieve whatever it is you want out of your time - the first step is come on down and join in the fun!
